Ilfracombe Beer Festival: May 3rd - May 6th
A weekend of live music, entertainment and a selection of real ales to herald the Spring.
"Jack in the Green" May Day Celebrations: May 5th
Procession around town centre from 11am, maypole and Morris dancing at the seafront.
North Devon Walking and Cycling Festival: May 1st - May 9th
A choice of guided and self guided walks and cycle routes taking in some of Devon and Exmoor's spectacular scenery.
Lundy Yacht Race: June 21st
An exciting 50 mile race around Lundy Island.
Ilfracombe Golf Club Open Week: June 1st - June 6th
A week of open Golf competitions for both men and women
Victorian Week: June 7th - June 15th
Celebrate the Victorian era with stalls, shows, processions and lots more for all the family.
Ilfracombe Town Criers Competition: June 14th - June 15th
Meet the criers and enjoy the experience of some 30 criers in competition.
Grand Charity Extravaganza: June 30th
A dazzling fashion show and charity auction followed by a star studded night of comedy, song, dance and music at the Landmark Theatre.
Powerboat Racing: July 12th - July 13th
An absolutely thrilling weekend of Powerboat circuit racing off Ilfracombe Harbour
Fishing Festival: End of July
The festival covers 250 miles of coastline and can be fished on shore or by boat.
Birdman Competition: August 3rd
See men and Women dressed up in various flying machines and jumping from the pier trying to fly.
The Great West Down Scenic Fun Run: August 7th
Started in 1996 a 10km (Adults), 3km (under 16's) Fun Run, with Stalls, Cream Teas and a Flower Festival in the Village Church.
Rescue Day on the Pier: August 6th
Demonstrations from the Police, Ambulance, Fire services, RNLI and the RAF search and rescue Helicopter.
Ilfracombe Carnival: August 21st
A procession of Walkers and Floats through Ilfracombe make this an evening to remember.
Mini Car Rally: August 25th
Minis from all over the country get together for a weekend and raise money for local charities.
Folk Festival: September 5th - September 7th
An exciting weekend featuring 25 artists, representing the best in the folk and acoustic music, simultaneously across 3 stages: the theatre, Pavillion and marquee on the green. You choose which stage, which artists, space permitting.
Lighting of Lights: December 3rd
A lantern procession to the War Memorial where the Christmas lights will be switched on.
